We are pleased to announce the addition of Michael Collins as Managing Director of Client Development. As a member of Verger’s Client Relations team, which includes service, development, and communications, Mike will develop and manage new and prospective business of the firm.
Having most recently served as Senior Vice-President in the Foundations & Institutional Advisors Practice of The Northern Trust Company, and prior to that as Head of Institutional Sales at TIAA, Mike brings his institutional experience and network to deliver a unique understanding of the challenges facing nonprofits. In addition to receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, Mike has passed the Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 and holds CIMA® and CPWA® certifications.
When asked why he chose to make the move to Verger, Mike said, “I have been fortunate to spend the last 12 years of my career collaborating with non-profit organizations of all shapes and sizes. It has been the most rewarding work I have done in my almost 30 years in this industry. The opportunity to be part of the Verger team is truly exciting. In an OCIO industry that can feel cluttered and confusing, their heritage, born out of a university investment office, along with being exceptional investors of capital are true differentiators that have and will continue to serve their clients well. I am looking forward to the great and meaningful work we are going to do.
As Verger strives to deepen and expand endowment and foundation relationships, the addition of Mike to the development team will bolster our strategic pipeline planning, lead generation, prospect evaluation, and communication of Verger’s story.
