In this expanded role, Tricia will lead the firm’s investment risk management, working alongside the investment team to monitor risk across the current portfolio and to analyze prospective investment transactions. The promotion builds on Tricia’s seven years of leadership at Verger. Since joining the firm in 2019, she led Verger through the process of claiming compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and oversaw the implementation of new investment reporting systems, most recently serving as Operations Director. She previously served on the CFA Institute’s GIPS Standards [Working Group](https://blog.vergercapital.com/news/verger-gips-compliance-leadership) and holds both the CAIA and CIPM designations. Her new responsibilities extend that foundation into the investment process itself. Careful oversight of risk in the existing portfolio, paired with disciplined analysis of new opportunities before capital is committed, supports the long-term durability Verger’s non-profit clients depend on to fund their missions. Beyond her professional role, Tricia leads Verger’s volunteer engagement efforts, organizing opportunities for the team to give back to local non-profits, and remains a central force in the firm’s culture of service. “Tricia has spent seven years building the operational standards our clients rely on, often without seeking credit for it. Bringing that same rigor to how we evaluate and monitor investment risk is a natural next step, and our clients will be better served for it,” said Jeff Manning, Verger’s CFO.
