Every year, Winston Under 40 honors exceptional young professionals who excel in their respective fields, make meaningful contributions to the community, and exhibit strong leadership qualities in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Verger is pleased to celebrate the accomplished individuals named as recipients of the 2023 Winston Under 40 Leadership Awards, among them Inge Smith, our Communications Manager.
This accolade is awarded annually to 25 young professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their professional endeavors and within the community.
Members of the Verger Women's Leadership Initiative attended the awards reception in downtown Winston-Salem, thoroughly enjoying the celebration of the Class of 2023. Each recipient was acknowledged for their contributions and congratulated by Mark Owens, President and CEO of Greater Winston Salem Inc., who presented them with custom, locally crafted awards.
Inge has underscored her dedication to the Winston-Salem community through her service on the board of directors of The Parenting PATH, participation on the Winston Under 40 Advisory Board, and her recent completion of the Leadership Winston-Salem Flagship class of 2023. She is also a member of the REACH Women's Network and actively contributes to Verger's Women's Leadership Initiative.
