Verger is proud to announce that the firm has partnered with HBCUvc by joining its group of sponsoring organizations. HBCUvc is a non-profit organization who envisions a global economy where Black, Indigenous, and Latinx innovators can boldly thrive. Its efforts focus on increasing opportunities for underrepresented innovators by developing, connecting, and mobilizing the next generation of venture capital leaders in communities where entrepreneurs face barriers in accessing capital.
The organization is rooted in the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and it supports innovation and access through its Fellowship program, Venture Capital internships and Emerging VC Leadership program. HBCUvc will support 100 new Fellows and 200 alumni Fellows in the 2021 - 2022 program year, and Verger is thrilled to support these amazing students and entrepreneurs through our partnership.
HBCUvc recently launched an annual giving campaign which seeks to expand the momentum built since its founding in 2017. Please visit this link to offer your support or visit their website to learn more about their mission and programs.
