Samaritan Ministries is a volunteer-based ministry that serves Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Their Soup Kitchen and Samaritan Inn Shelter are open 365 days and nights a year to serve people in need. Lead by Senior Fund Analyst, Tricia Walker, several Vergerites planned, purchased, and prepared a meal of baked ziti, salad, bread and cookies to feed 100 guests of the Samaritan Ministries Soup Kitchen. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community in this way through our generous Volunteer Time Off (VTO) policy which offers all employees paid hours to participate in volunteer work.
