We're proud to share that Inge Smith, Verger's Communications Director, has been honored as one of the Triad Business Journal's 2024 Outstanding Women in Business. This prestigious award was presented at TBJ's event on April 24th, where more than 300 attendees gathered at the Cadillac Garage in Greensboro, NC to celebrate the achievements of 25 exceptional women. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients and recognize their significant contributions to our community.
This recognition is a reflection of Inge's dedication to the Winston-Salem community and her exemplary leadership at Verger. Her service extends beyond our organization; she actively contributes to the board of directors of The Parenting PATH and serves on the Winston Under 40 Advisory Board. Additionally, Inge recently completed the Leadership Winston-Salem Flagship class of 2023 and was the recipient of the Greater Winston Salem Inc. Under 40 Leadership Award, further showcasing her commitment to personal and professional growth.
As a valued member of the REACH Women's Network and a driving force behind Verger's Women's Leadership Initiative, Inge continues to inspire and empower those around her. During the event, each of the award recipients shared remarks as they accepted their awards. The themes that came through these stories included gratitude, perseverance, and a passion for helping others.
